What the Levoit Dual 100 Was
The Levoit Dual 100 was a small ultrasonic cool mist humidifier and oil diffuser in one. The older review put it at 6 by 6 by 10.6 inches and 3.35 pounds, with a 0.48 gallon tank that filled from the top. It was made for rooms of about 150 square feet. The original Amazon link no longer works, so it cannot be priced or checked there.
Looking ahead, humidifier-diffuser combos will keep merging into one product. Most new cool mist units now come with an oil tray, a big top-fill tank and a night light. The catch is that small listings change names and vanish quickly, as the Levoit Dual 100 page did, so a review can outlive the product it describes.
What the Older Review Said
- Mist. Three settings, low, medium and high, with about 0.2 pints an hour.
- Run time. Up to 20 hours on one fill.
- Noise. Under 28 dB, very quiet.
- Night mode. The lights turn off.
- Auto shutoff. When the water is low or the tank is removed.
- Top-fill. Lift the lid and pour, no flipping the tank.
- Warranty. 2 years.
It had rules, too. Keep it off carpet and towels so fibers do not block the air inlet, and use purified or distilled water where the manual asks.
The risk to watch is the oil habit. The older review said you can put oil straight into the water tank. Many makers warn against that, because oils can crack plastic parts and clog the mist plate. Dirty water and an unwashed tank add to the problem. Expect more combo devices that blur humidifier and diffuser. Use the oil tray only if your model has one, follow the manual on water type and clean the tank often.
Oils and Upkeep
The older review said you could pour oil into the water tank, with more scent if you used the base. Check your manual first, since many makers allow oil only in a separate tray. Wipe the plate and clean the tank often, and read why a humidifier leaves white dust if you see a film on furniture. For more bedroom picks, see humidifiers for bedrooms.

Cons: Amazon page gone; small tank and coverage; oil-in-tank advice is risky; needs clean water and a clean tank; cannot sit on carpet or towels.
FAQ
Is the Levoit Dual 100 still sold on Amazon?

Final Word
The Dual 100 was a fine small combo unit, but you cannot buy it from Amazon now. A Levoit 4L or an Everlasting Comfort 6L is the safer pick today.
What happens next: expect more 4 to 6 liter top-fill units with smart shutoff and app control at low prices. Check the manual for oil rules, and measure the room with a hygrometer so the unit does not overshoot.
